Communities

Are At Risk

Paradise Valley Fire District consists of roughly 65 square miles and includes 2 fire stations. Most of our rural areas do not have fire hydrants, requiring all water to be trucked in by volunteers.

Without new volunteers, our fire fighting capability steadily decreases.

You can make a huge difference in our community by becoming a volunteer firefighter.

Protect Your Community

Boundary County has seven fire districts across the county. All seven of these districts rely entirely on ordinary citizens who have chosen to volunteer their time to make Boundary County a safer community for all those who live here.

Is there a fire in you?

Firefighters do much more than take down fires: they also respond to vehicle accidents, medical emergencies, rescues, hazmat incidents, floods, downed power lines and much more.

Firefighting is a tough business, and volunteer firefighters need to possess a multitude of skills and talents, not to mention the personal character necessary to properly and honorably represent their department, their community, and the profession.

Is there a fire in you? If you have what it takes, join the team!
